The above link leads to one of the pages of the comic, which shows the exact coloring style we are looking for. However, attempts at finding a motivated colorist have failed, as the volunteer colorists we once had on the team ran out of time and enthusiasm.

Even though the team is a volunteer effort, we decided we wouldn’t get anywhere if we didn’t actually hire a colorist for pay. We are going to be awarding within the next week. There will be many editions for each production of shoes and to keep things fresh we might select a few artists to rotate…. But if an artist is determined and is willing to work with us exclusively, we will give them a fair go.

We are going to be ready to begin producing quicker than we thought we were. This means we now have to create our budgets and get ready to distribute funds…… So we don’t rush the artist… we will need to find someone quick.

That is the shape of the first shoe we have chosen……The printing is in black and white in this image…..but the end product will be in FULL color. You will only need to design ONE side of this shoe….Which will be printed on all 4 sides of a pair… So basically, this picture is only to show the shape of the shoe… And to show where the design will cover…. You are free to do whatever you want! (But we do ask to stay on our theme for the first production).

All original ARTWORK will remain to the artist as long as our company hold rights to the IMAGES. If you have chosen to do the logo, website or catalog as well we will need quotes for them as well.

Hello All,

My partner and I are produced writers and we recently completed our next project which is a half-hour anime-style serial episodic. We’ve garnered a fair amount of interst from producers and series outlets but we can’t make an all out pitch till we have excellent, stylish, and professional illustrations.

So we’re in search of an artist who can take our ideas and suggestions into account, read the pilot script, then using your great talent and expertise, come up with 5 or 6 full color character illustrations and an accompanying storyboard.

We are all working on deferred payment, as we haven’t sold the project yet, but if and when we do we will promise (and state in a contract if necessary):

a) Full credit on the project

b) Payment in full for all services rendered.

The third thing which we will try our hardest to do, but certainly can’t promise, is to obtain a crew position for you. Like I said, we can’t promise that (as the decision will be out of our hands) but we will certainly push for that with you. And definitely reccommend you to others.

Shade Digital is a full service Advertising and Design house in North Carolina. We are presently looking for an Illustrator to join our team. We are growing rapidly and must keep up with our clients’ needs.

Our primary workload is with the U.S. Army and McCann-Erickson (who has the Army’s Ad campaign). Jobs range from 24×36 poster Adverts to T-shirt design and Motion Graphics for Commercials with everything else in between.

This is a freelance job and will be paid per job completed. The artist is required to have strong illustration skills, the ability to render with photorealistic quality, and to complete his or her assignments within a given timetable.

Please have at least three years of experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat on a Mac platform. You must be able to work in a creative, high-pressure, fast-paced environment. A couple of months ago I applied for a grant from a local arts council to produce a comic and I’ve been given a small budget to hire artists and have small run printed by either Ka-Blam or one of the other print-on-demand services.

The story is set in an anthropomorphized world where the animals run things. No humans in sight. It’s in the 1930s prohibition era. Abe, a silverback gorilla, and Johnny Dragon, who’s actually a monkey, are two freelancers hired to investigate crimes the Police Department can’t be bothered to handle. They’re searching for a truckload of booze when they find there’s a link between the smuggling ring and the death of a politician’s daughter.

I’d like to work with an artist who feels comfortable drawing all the old noir tropes, such as tommy guns, classic cars, etc, as well as animals in pin striped suits. I’m looking for someone who has the right balance between realistic and stylised. A weasel informant and an otter cardsharp should look distinctive and have a unique look; these aren’t just human bodies with animal heads

This is going to be in black and white so your pencils will have to be strong enough to look good without the aid of colouring.

We are looking for a penciller who has a similar style to Eduardo Risso. We previously had an artist who did 12 pages and then disappeared on us, so if you can not commit to 6 issues, then do NOT apply. Its $15 per page for the first issue, and $25 per page for the second issue, each issue is 22 pages. The third, forth, fifth and sixth issue page rate may be increased depending on your reliability and quality of work. All we require is at least 3 pages completed per week.

I am after someone to design a CD cover for myself and Bizarre of D12 with my character looking sinister and crazy in the front taking up that much room and drawn from that position up,with 2 other featured artists behind him one on the right other on the left. Like the joker in the bottom example. It would need to coloured as well and able to go onto a standard CD cover!
